Display Pack, a supplier of thermoformed packaging solutions, was evolving its business model from retail and industrial product packaging to a new focus on the food industry. They needed their website to emphasize food packaging applications, tell a stronger sustainability story, and provide an improved user experience.
A Continued Partnership
Our engagement with Display Pack started with routine work to improve their site’s search engine optimization and visibility through on-page content and technical improvements. But as the company’s business evolved, they asked us to provide recommendations for a full site rebuild to update broad messaging, brand positioning, site structure, and general design.
Defining User and Business Needs
We met with Display Pack’s marketing and key leadership teams to clearly define primary user groups, business needs, website goals, and KPIs. With the information we gained from our discovery session, a new site strategy and architecture were created to meet the current needs of users and the business.
An Enhanced User Experience
In an effort to make the site more user friendly, information was reorganized to support new business goals and bring focus to user journeys. The e-commerce platform was also enhanced to make it easier for users to purchase packaging and order samples. Additionally, a resources section was added to provide quick access to marketing collateral.
Emphasis on Sustainability
Sustainability is an important focus for Display Pack’s business model. However, this story wasn’t being told effectively on their website. So, we assisted with the company’s sustainability messaging and created a section on the new website dedicated to these efforts with easy to access information and resources.
