As the world’s leader in residential pool product manufacturing, Pentair recognizes educating and building awareness among consumers are critical services it provides to its dealer network. To ensure the website continues to support that effort, Pentair realized more than a site refresh was needed. Instead, it chose replatforming to a new system.

With more than a thousand products, a simplified navigation was introduced. Intuitive and sales driven, the new system prioritizes the most popular products, which drives 90% of the user interaction, while still providing visitors with easy access to anything else they may be looking for.

Single sign-on systems were integrated to ensure that Pentair’s network of dealers and distributors retained exclusive access to pro-only content via a password-protected area within the site.

Letting the products do more of its storytelling, the site now helps consumers, most of whom are first-time users, appreciate more quickly that Pentair is a manufacturer of the kind of high-quality pool products that help them realize their lifestyle goals.
