Years at BFT

After studying interpersonal communication research for over a decade, Amanda uses skills homed in academia (including that Ph.D.!) to create data analysis, strategy, and commentary for BFT clients. Her background in advanced research methods and design comes in handy in the marketing world.

Often when working with clients, it’s easy to fall victim to groupthink and bias towards a project. Amanda leans on her skills in research methods to take a step back, identify the issue, and conduct market research to find an unbiased solution.

She relies on two things to make projects easier: Forming meaningful relationships with clients and being comfortable asking for help when needed. Her curious brain would enjoy grabbing a coffee with Simon Sinek or Johann Hari.

“A business is nothing without understanding how to develop and maintain relationships.”
