Agapé Plastics, a regional manufacturer of molded and insert plastic parts, faced challenges with its website. Recognizing the need for a digital upgrade, Agapé Plastics partnered with Blue Flame Thinking to elevate its online presence and drive sales leads.
The Client Problem
Agapé Plastics approached BFT with a variety of concerns regarding their existing website. The old platform experienced broken functionalities and an outdated aesthetic that did not resonate with target audiences. Sparse content limited SEO effectiveness and hindered traffic and leads. Agapé Plastics was searching for a dedicated agency partner who would come alongside the team to help make long-term site management and optimization decisions.

The BFT Solution: Utilizing Best UX and SEO Practices

Phase 1: Discovery
An in-person discovery session was held involving key stakeholders from the Agapé team, representing a range of divisions across the company: Sales, engineering, management, IT, and more. This collaborative effort allowed us to identify the new website’s primary focus areas, aspirations, and vision.
After gathering key findings, we collaborated with the Agapé team to identify requirements, industry standards, opportunities, and key content needs.
Phase 2: UX, Design and Copywriting
After listening to key team members during the discovery phase, BFT reimagined the flow of the new website and what content it should include. Site navigation was redesigned with the user experience in mind.
Through sitemaps, content outlines, and wireframes, we volleyed ideas back and forth to the Agapé team to land on the perfect site structure.
Armed with keyword volumes and direction from the Agapé team, we used best SEO practices to write new, engaging content for each page.


Based on insights from the discovery phase, the BFT team also completed a full redesign.
We also incorporated a mega menu to improve navigation and user experience.

The original maroon brand color, which often appeared too pink in combination with white, was adjusted to enhance visual appeal.

Icons were added to identify key capabilities and industries served.
Multiple videos were added to the website to catch attention and draw interest to key areas.
Phase 3: Development and Analytics
The final phase involved the web development of the new site along with integrated analytics tools. We ensured that the website would be mobile-friendly and ADA-compliant, optimizing it for an excellent user experience across all devices.
